Disagree with ideas, respect people
Strong disagreement is welcome. Threats, targeted harassment, hateful abuse, stalking and exposing someone’s private information are not. Do not encourage violence or exploitation. Avoid repeatedly contacting someone after they have asked you to stop.
Keep your identity and intent honest
Do not impersonate another person or organization, manufacture engagement, or present fictional accounts as real members. State commercial interests when they matter. Clearly distinguish your opinions, jokes and illustrative examples from factual claims. Sample accounts in this release are explicitly labeled.
Respect ownership and context
Post media and text you have permission to share. Credit sources when appropriate. Do not publish another person’s private messages or sensitive details without permission. A quote should represent the original thought fairly, even when you challenge it.
Contribute, do not flood
Repeated advertisements, link spam, mass mentions and coordinated manipulation undermine the conversation. Rate limits apply to posting and other actions. Keep Circle contributions relevant to their description; leave or mute a conversation that is not for you.
Use the tools that fit the problem
Mute removes an account from your feed and quote previews. Block also prevents interaction in both directions. To report a post, open its options menu, choose Report post, and describe what happened. Reports are visible to administrators and are not shown to the reported author.
How moderation works in this release
Administrators review reports and can remove posts or suspend member accounts. Suspended content disappears from normal views. Reports can be marked resolved after review. This release does not provide an automated appeals workflow or promise a response deadline. The site owner is responsible for operating moderation as access expands.
