TERMS · UPDATED 11 OCTOBER 2026

Terms of using Baithak.

Access, content permissions, community expectations, and the limits of Baithak’s current release.

Access and accounts

Create a Baithak account with an email address, password and unique handle. Keep your password and recovery key private. Email addresses and real-world identities are not verified in this release. You are responsible for activity through your account and should use the name and identity you have permission to represent.

Your content remains yours

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting, you allow Baithak to store and display it to permitted visitors and to perform the interactions you choose, including replies and quotes. Share only material you have the right to use. You can edit or delete your posts through the app.

The rules apply to everyone

Follow the community guidelines and respect other people’s privacy. Do not impersonate people, spam, exploit the service, bypass access restrictions or manufacture engagement. Administrators can remove content and suspend member accounts to enforce these rules. Chronological ordering does not exempt content from moderation.

What is provided today

This MVP provides the social features described on the Features page. Posting and messaging require a connection. Messages are participant-scoped but not end-to-end encrypted. The service does not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular moderation response time. Password recovery uses a saved recovery key; there is no email reset service.

Removing information

Members can export data and delete their accounts in Settings. Deletion affects owned records and messages involving the account. The founding administrator account must remain to manage the Site. Removed records may remain in infrastructure backups under provider retention arrangements.

Changes and responsibility

Features and dated policies may evolve as Baithak develops. The owner operates hosting and moderation. Review these pages before sharing sensitive information. Operational or legal requirements for a wider commercial service remain the responsibility of the operator.
